What types of accommodation does Moruya Holiday Park offer?

Moruya Holiday Park provides a wide variety of Moruya accommodation options, including cabins, villas, and caravan park accommodation, as well as powered camping sites and unpowered camping sites.

Are there pet-friendly options available at Moruya Holiday Park?

Yes! We offer pet-friendly camping sites, including powered and unpowered sites. However, cabins and villas are not pet-friendly. Be sure to check the park's pet policy for any restrictions.

Do I need to book in advance?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we highly recommend booking ahead, especially for pet-friendly camping sites and riverfront accommodation during peak seasons.

Is there a minimum stay requirement during peak seasons?

Yes, during school holidays, public holidays, and peak periods, there may be a minimum stay requirement for cabins and villas. Check availability when booking.

Are there options for large groups or extended stays?

Yes! We have spacious multi-bedroom cabins, villas, and powered sites perfect for group bookings and longer stays.

What is the check-in and check-out time?

  • Check-in: From 2:00 PM
  • Check-out: By 10:00 AM

What types of camping sites are available at Moruya Holiday Park?

We offer a variety of camping and caravan sites, including:

  • Powered camping sites (standard and riverfront)
  • Unpowered camping sites
  • Spacious caravan sites with drive-through options

Are the powered sites suitable for larger vehicles?

Yes! Our powered camping sites can accommodate motorhomes, caravans, and camper trailers, including drive-through options for easy parking.

Can I bring my own fire pit?

No, unfortunately, open fires are not permitted at Moruya Holiday Park due to local fire restrictions. However, guests are welcome to use the camp kitchen and BBQ facilities.

What should I bring when staying at the camping sites?

For powered camping sites, bring an extension cord for power access. For pet-friendly camping, bring essentials like bedding, leashes, and food for your furry companion.

Are dogs allowed in the park?

Yes! We welcome pets at our pet-friendly caravan and camping sites. However, pets are not permitted in cabins or villas. Please check our pet policy before booking.

Are there dog-friendly beaches nearby?

Yes! Bengello Beach is a 24-hour off-leash dog beach, perfect for your furry friend to enjoy some seaside fun.

Are there dog-friendly cafés and restaurants in Moruya?

Absolutely! Moruya Waterfront Hotel and The River Moruya are great options where dogs are welcome in outdoor seating areas.

What’s the best way to get to Moruya Holiday Park?

  • From Sydney: Follow the Princes Highway south toward Moruya.
  • From Canberra: Travel via Kings Highway to Batemans Bay, then take the Princes Highway south.

Can I park my car next to my site or accommodation?

Yes! Every cabin, villa, and campsite includes parking for one vehicle. Additional parking may be available upon request.

Is public transport available nearby?

Moruya is serviced by regional buses connecting to Batemans Bay and other South Coast destinations.

 

Facilities & Park Policies
 

Does the park have free Wi-Fi?

Yes! Free Wi-Fi is available in select areas of the park.

Are BBQ and cooking facilities available?

Yes! We have BBQ facilities and a fully equipped camp kitchen available for all guests.

Can I hire equipment like kayaks or bikes at the park?

At this time, we don’t offer kayak or bike hire, but there are rental services in Moruya.

Are visitors allowed in the park?

Yes, visitors are welcome but must check in at reception. Overnight visitors must be pre-approved.

Is there a quiet time policy?

Yes! To ensure all guests enjoy their stay, we ask for quiet time from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
